Borders Books Bankruptcy

It’s been announced… Borders Books is going bankrupt. This is not a bad thing though because they are staying open while restructuring their business model. They have seen the changing face of publishing and book selling and are changing their business to suit it. So congratulations Borders for keeping up with the times!

Do you remember this bad boy? It was all the rage in the early 90′s because it was the first type of scanner introduced and artists were jumping for joy everywhere and so were those who wanted so desperately to stop cutting and pasting for their publishing needs.

Once at Kinko’s we headed over to the ‘layout’ area. For those of you who don’t know Kinko’s or at least the old-style Kinko’s, it was a copy store. A self-service copy store with a large work table that offered a cutting board, scissors, white out, glue sticks and other various materials. Around the perimeter of the store there were copy machines along the walls. All black and white machines of course and one color machine (for only the Kinko’s staff to handle.)
